A successful copywriting formula should grab your audience’s attention and persuade them to take the desired action. And one such element is scarcity. It is a powerful motivator.

FOMO — Fear Of Missing Out is real! Even when it comes to ad copies. You can instill FOMO in your audience by mentioning that the product is going out of stock in a few days. And the product will be unavailable for a long time. This prompts the audience to take action lest they miss the opportunity. Customers are more likely to buy an item when they know it won’t be available for long.

Phrases like “Only 5 Left in Stock” or “Seats Filling Our Fast” can be an excellent way to add the scarcity element.

Another excellent way to make an offer seem more attractive is by adding the word ‘only’ in front of it. You can use it alongside phrases like “Limited Offer”; “Hurry, Only 3 Left!”; “Hurry, Only One Left!”

The scarcity element works perfectly with E-Commerce ad copies and webinar registrations.
